Publication of half-year results for Von Roll Holding AG to be brought forward to August 4, 2008

Waedenswil, July 23, 2008 – Von Roll Holding AG has brought forward the publication of its half-year results to August 4, 2008. The original date for the semi-annual conference as specified in the 2007 Annual Report was August 26, 2008.
The date has been brought forward because it was possible to speed up the reporting processes within Von Roll Holding AG and it is the company’s aim to provide both the capital market and the public with an up-to-date and comprehensive picture of the current key figures and company situation as soon as possible. As a basic principle, Von Roll Holding AG is aiming for earlier reporting in the future. This will follow the normal reporting periods for Swiss-based companies listed on the stock exchange, and is therefore expected to be late July to early August in future.
A teleconference for journalists and analysts with the Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO, Thomas Limberger, and the CFO, Markus Scherbel, is taking place on August 4, 2008. The time and further details of the teleconference will be communicated in a separate press release by August 1, 2008.
